The free Multimedia API from MicrosoftDirectX is a free collection of APIs (interactive software) for picture and sound software. This allows developers, especially game developers, to easily create highlighted games that work on Windows. A large number of users won’t even see DirectX working – it only runs when needed, without telling you. Interacting with it is more complicated and requires software tools to control sound cards and graphics DirectX is a technical tool that helps game developers communicate with sound cards and pictures. While it can be installed on any computer, most users never need it. It runs while playing games made by DirectX and that’s it. You just have to be more discriminating about the help you give to others. It has one of the easiest runtime processes in this unit. (Function () {(‘review-app-page-desktop’);}); Why use DirectX? DirectX is a group of Windows interactions. Developers in the DirectX API, which allows them to communicate with applications – often games – precisely with sound cards and pictures. On the other hand, sound and picture card manufacturers know DirectX so much that they know what to do if a program made by DirectX gets their service. It is! Already have DirectX? Since DirectX does not have an interface like other programs (for example, it will not appear in your list of programs), you will need to work more technically to see what is already installed on your computer. To check this, follow these steps: Click Start, click Run Run dxdiag, and then click OK. On the System tab, check the DirectX version displayed in the DirectX version bar. See different version information tabs for each DirectX file. DirectX installation. If you find that DirectX is not installed on your computer (or a very old version), you will need to download DirectX again to use it. Downloading is as easy as you expect – you download and use .exe as usual. Installation is slow, which can be a little frustrating, and check – the app tries to install Bing during installation. It is! How do you open the DirectX control panel? Since DirectX is not a standard program, you cannot open it in the normal way. Instead, press the Start button and tap dxdiag in the box. Your computer will ask if you want to use DirectX. The window that opens is a traditional Windows interface. All information provided is for informational purposes only – more information about your system, display settings, version and driver services, audio information and current input devices. You are not talking about this information. There is an error window and if you create and edit an error, the error will appear here. You go back and fix it, and the error will go away. Who needs DirectX? There are two situations where you need DirectX. If you play games on your computer that require DirectX to work. Maybe you already have it. If you are designing items that require access to sound cards and pictures, you may also need DirectX. Keep in mind that DirectX is not the only tool of its kind. There are other APIs that communicate with picture cards, and many of themmore sophisticated. You can compare it to legitimate software like runtime. Even so, if you’re playing or designing a particular game or for a particular machine (maybe an older one), you may need a technology tool that DirectGX doesn’t need. This is a stable technology that has been around for years and still has the power to go . The graphics and sound technology work very well (so it remains useful even when very old), and the interface is very important, albeit very old. However, most of us will never see it – unless you plan it, you don’t have to open it, because it will run again without you realizing it. DirectX is not the kind of software you may or may not want. If necessary, you have to wear it, and this is a painless experience. The latest changes to the latest version of DirectX improve Windows 10 compatibility and add support for Variable Rate Shading (VRS). Other recent versions have added DirectX Raytracing support, depth testing and configurable MSAAs.
